All upcoming grading and grading training dates have now been added to the club calendar. Costs for gradings for all Kyu grades are increasing by £5 with immediate effect to cover the increased costs of hall hire at the Chiltern Hills Academy in Chesham. Training and grading training costs are not affected.

The Lion will now be edited by Jack Hamilton – it’s great that we have his help to keep the club magazine going. You can pick up a copy of the magazine at grading events. You can also read the Lion back catalog on the website.

The Lion is full of articles and content that is provided by club members, for club members. We always want to hear members’ karate related stories covering all areas of training and karate life. If you would like to contribute to the magazine, please get in touch.

Finally, we are trying to arrange a visit from Sensei Rick Clark in June. We have been privileged to host Sensei Clark at the club on a number of occasions and it is always a lot of fun and very informative. If the event is confirmed, attendance is highly recommended.
